About

I'm JEB. I build software that has to feel right. The interface, the speed, the edge case other people walk past.

That has meant founding engineer at Zeno, and before that Lifeforms, Headspace, NerdWallet, and SlideShare. Frontend and full-stack. A long habit of caring how something looks and how fast it loads.

The work I want next to the engineering is on this site too: generative collages, a scraper that reads messy pages, a bookmarklet that should not exist. The about page used to sound like a job description. This is closer.

Disclaimer

Being on the spectrum and having ADHD isn't just a part of who I am. It's my superpower. When I hyperfocus on a problem, the world fades away, and I can see patterns and solutions that others might miss.

My brain doesn't work like most people's. I'll notice that one pixel that's slightly off, that microsecond of lag that others might ignore, that edge case that could break everything. It's not about being picky. It's about seeing the world in a different way.

The same traits that make me different are what drive me to perfection. When I'm in the zone, I can spend hours, days, even weeks obsessing over the smallest details, chasing that elusive feeling of "just right."

Some might see it as a challenge. I see it as my competitive advantage. In a world that often settles for "good enough," my neurodivergent brain won't let me stop until it's perfect.
